The Best Allergy Care Under One Roof

About Allergy Services of America, LLC (ASA)
ASA is a healthcare service provider based in Chapel Hill, NC with regional offices in Texas, including GMA Health. Partnering with primary care physicians, ENTs and pulmonologists, ASA administers safe and effective allergy testing and immunotherapy—customized for each individual patient.

Benefiting Our Patients
By partnering together, ASA enables GMA Health to offer patients the full spectrum of allergy testing and immunotherapy—individually customized for every patient. All testing and treatment will be performed right in the clinic by an allergy specialist. There’s no need to go anywhere else!

Convenient Allergy Clinic
Our very own allergy clinic is a modern, state-of-the-art facility and is staffed by a professionally trained allergy specialist under the supervision of ASA’s Director of Clinical Allergy Services. This effectively eliminates the need for the physician to outsource allergy testing for patients — it’s all right here:

  • Testing: Your physician may recommend allergy skin testing to identify specific allergens that are causing your symptoms. Skin testing is generally performed by pricking the skin with allergen extracts to evaluate the skin reaction to the allergen.
  • Allergen Immunotherapy: This treatment is the only form of therapy for allergic disease that can lead to complete resolution of symptoms — without medications! When administered to children, it may also prevent the development of further allergic disease.
  • Subcutaneous Immunotherapy: Subcutaneous Immunotherapy (SCIT), commonly known as “allergy shots,” is the most effective treatment available for symptoms caused by exposure to specific allergens including airborne allergens. SCIT is administered by injection, gradually increasing doses of an allergen over a period of weeks or months until the desired target dose is achieved.
  • Sublingual Immunotherapy: Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT) is a type of immunotherapy that allows the patient to place drops of allergen extracts under their tongue. More commonly known as “allergy drops,” SLIT is an alternative treatment for allergy shots. It’s painless and can be administered by the patient at home.
